Will my pet have to be up to date on vaccinations?
Yes, you will need to provide a current copy of your pet's rabies certificate, along with the name and phone number of your
veterinarian.

How long does it take for my pet to be groomed?
Most short-haired dogs take about an hour to groom.  Dogs with long hair and /or mats will take longer.

How do I schedule an appointment?
Most of the time, we will not be available to answer the phone during the work day.  Most calls will be answered in the early
evening hours.  You are encouraged to leave the following information either on our voice mail or in an email:
  • your name & address
  • the breed of your pet and his age
  • when he was professionally groomed last
  • and any special treatment that your pet requires

Do you schedule evening or Sunday appointments?
In certain instances where the situation requires it, we do schedule off-hour appointments.  There is an extra charge for
this accommodation.

How often should my pet be groomed?
Generally, your pet should be groomed every 4 to 6 weeks.  In fact, you should try to "lock-in" a recurring appointment to
avoid long delays.

My dog is heavily matted.  How long will it take you to de-mat him?
We will not de-mat a pet that is heavily matted.  De-matting is very painful for your pet and very time-consuming.  We firmly
believe that the grooming process should be an enjoyable, relaxing and pain-free experience for your pet.

What if I miss my appointment?
If you are not able to keep an appointment, you must let us know at least 24 hours in advance or you will be charged a
service-call fee
of $25. We have clients waiting to fill cancelled appointments.

My pet sheds constantly.  Is there anything you can do?
Yes, we can use the FURminator Shed-less Treatment which reduces shedding up to 90%!  It removes undercoat and
loose hair without sacrificing the healthy top coat.  This also may help people who suffer with allergies.

What if it snows?  Will you still plan to groom my pet?
Generally, if it is snowing heavily, the van is not driven until the roads are cleared.  It is difficult to drive in very inclement
weather because the van is top-heavy.  We will contact you and reschedule if necessary; however, every attempt will be
made to keep your scheduled appointment.
